In recognition of her outstanding contributions, she was nominated and named a finalist for The Steamatic Canada Award for Woman of Distinction by the esteemed Insurance Business Canada Magazine in 2021. Her outstanding achievements have also earned her the prestigious Forecaster Award from Allstate Insurance in 2009.

Edwina’s remarkable career has been featured in multiple industry-leading publications, including Women in Insurance Global Network, Insurance Business, and Canadian Underwriter.

Being able to extensively work for a tech company, Edwina has found her passion in furthering technological advances and has never looked back. She has the foresight to recognize that nearly every industry today relies on technology and she hopes to contribute to furthering the insurance industry in its modernization.

Edwina is very passionate about business, entrepreneurship, mentoring, coaching and building small businesses. Within the insurance industry she works to develop more representation and advancement for women of colour.
